Sinopsis


We are in the front trenches during the Spanish Civil War.
It has been two years since the war began. Weapons are no longer used.

The soldiers doze, write letters or play. But the peace and quiet is interrupted when the speaker of the national area announces that, on the occasion of the feast of “Virgen de Agosto”, will be held in the nearby town several celebrations, among which a delicious dinner, followed by dancing and bullfighting festival.

Five combatants from the Republican side decided to kidnap the heifer that will be used at the party. With this action they will get the food that scarce on their side and will thwart the enemy party.
